Reframing Love In A Modern World

A social campaign challenging how modern dating culture has reshaped the meaning of love.

Overview

Reframing Love is a conceptual multimedia campaign that explores how modern relationships have shifted away from emotional depth due to social media influence, casual dating culture, and reduced vulnerability in communication. The project uses visual storytelling and physical media to encourage reflection on what meaningful connection looks like in contemporary society.

Strategy

Process

I began by researching how social media influences modern relationships, identifying patterns of emotional detachment and performative interaction. From there, I developed a concept that contrasted classical expressions of love with modern communication styles, using typography and messaging to bridge the two.

Final Design

Outcome

The campaign successfully created engagement both online and in physical spaces, generating discussion around modern relationship dynamics. By combining visual design with social interaction, the project transformed abstract emotional themes into a tangible, participatory experience.

This project reflects my interest in using design not just to communicate, but to challenge perspectives and spark deeper conversations.
